UNC Calls GPRS to Locate Electrical
Conduits in Greeley, CO

Ground Penetrating Radar is a great application for Hospitals and UniversitiesWhen the University of Northern Colorado needed to know what was inside concrete slabs before coring, they called GPRS of Denver.  While on site the GPRS technician was able to identify multiple areas of concern within the concrete slab. The items were marked directly on the concrete to that when coring there was no question of the whereabouts of the conduits.

Ground Penetrating Radar is a great application for Hospitals and Universities because it does not require moving any people away from the area. No radiation is released during a GPR imaging scan. Ground Sonar (GPR) is also a great way to test the contents of concrete in a non-destructive manner. The data collected during a scan can be instantly marked on the surface of the concrete and is a relatively quick process. This allows projects to stay on schedule and keep a low cost. This Service can be provided Nationwide by GPRS. To schedule a GPR scan in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah or Nebraska please call Jason Schaff at 303-945-5415.
