Montrose Colorado Memorial Hospital Conduit Locate
in Western Colorado

A local General Contractor in Western Colorado was heading up a project at Montrose Memorial Hospital to install a new piece of imaging equipment and needed to clear several coring and trenching areas prior to cutting. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Colorado mobilized to the Western Colorado Site and was able to mark out several conduits in the area.

The conduits that were found with the concrete slab also were found to contain live power. It is extremely crucial in a hospital that power is not interrupted to any patients. Ground Penetrating Radar is often used in a hospital setting to keep all patients and employees safe. Not only does GPRS keep facilities from hitting conduits it keeps patients safe b eliminating the harmful radiation that is emitted during a traditional concrete x-ray.
