GPR Used To Locate Conduit And Reinforcement In Slab In Littleton, CO

GPRS was contacted by Adams County Plumbing and Heating of Denver, CO to locate conduit and reinforcement in cast in place concrete slabs at Littleton Adventist Hospital. The Customer was looking to install new mechanical lines through the concrete slab in many locations. The customer did not wish to hit any conduit that may be in the slab as well as strike any reinforcement that may compromise the structural integrity of the building. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was able to supply concrete imaging for any conduit or rebar in the slab in a rapid and precise manner.

Ground Penetrating Radar was ideal on this site as it is a running hospital with many people in the hospital. GPR does not require evacuation of the area as does traditional x-ray concrete imaging. GPR does not emit any radiation and is completely safe to use in an occupied building such as a hospital. As with traditional xray is mostly done after hours, GPR can be done during normal business hours. All data findings are marked directly on the surface at the customer’s request for the easiest interpretation of the imaging provided. With GPR there is no wait for developing films as with traditional x-ray. Only one side of the slab is needed for scanning so time and resources are much more ideal for tight schedules of projects. Ground Penetrating Radar is the new way to xray. concrete xray near denver colorado cost of xray services estimate
