GPRS was contacted by CH2M Hill of Englewood Colorado to use radar to locate utilities on a job at the Air National Guard in Cheyenne Wyoming. The customer was doing multiple boring locations and chose to use ground penetrating radar to assist in this project. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was able to quickly mobilize and scan the area using 400 MHz antenna and radio detection for the customer.
The technician was able to locate multiple utilities in the area that the customer wanted to drill using ground penetrating radar. Because GPR has zero limitations to the size of an area that can be scanned, GPRS was able to scan multiple acres in a timely and efficient manner. This was important to the customer as they needed to continue with the project within their proposed schedule.
In addition to locating utilities in Wyoming, GPRS offers other non-destructive services such locating underground storage tanks (UST’s) in Colorado Spring, concrete thickness testing in Fort Collins, and locating tension cables in Denver.
