We use the latest ground penetrating technology to provide critical information on utilities, materials, and other potential obstructions within, or under existing structures. Fast and reliable, GPRS provides data in both two- and three-dimensions without delivering any radiation. All of our equipment is registered and meets all standard FCC regulations.
Utilizing GPR reduces risk and cost, and promotes a safe work environment by providing non-destructive testing for locating materials (such materials commonly include concrete, plastic, metal, and steel, although our equipment can be used in a variety of other applications). Our client base includes hospitals, universities, surveyors, engineers, homeowners, contractors, environmental firms, and excavators.
GPRS Locates Reinforcement In CMU Wall of Eisenhower Tunnel
- Silverthorne, Colorado
Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was recently contacted by US Engineering of Loveland Colorado to locate reinforcement at the Eisenhower Tunnel in Colorado. The customer was installing new boilers and needed to verify the location of rebar in a CMU wall before proceeding with installation. They needed to be assured that while cutting holes that they were not going to strike any reinforcement. They chose to use GRPS to accomplish this task.
The walls at the Eisenhower Tunnel were CMU, then an air void, then a brick veneer. GPR was ideal for this project because ground penetrating radar only needs access to one side of the surface being scanned. All readings can be done from one side, and marked on surface without having to have access to both sides of concrete. GPRS is the new way to x-ray.
GPRS can not only locate reinforcement in Georgetown Colorado, we offer other non-destructive testing such as locating underground storage tanks (UST’s) in Colorado Springs, Colorado, or finding tension cables in Pueblo, Colorado. GPRS also has an office in Omaha, NE for your concrete imaging needs. To schedule an appointment today, or to set up a lunch and learn so we can come to your facility and give you more information on all of our testing capabilities contact your local representative Adam Rock at email@example.com.
Ground Penetrating Radar Systems Locates Rebar Prior To Installation Of Plumbing Fixtures - Denver, Colorado
GPRS was recently contacted by US Engineering of Loveland Colorado to locate reinforcement at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver Colorado. The customer was installing new plumbing fixtures and needed to verify the location of rebar before proceeding with installation. They needed to be assured that while drilling holes that they were not going to strike any reinforcement. They chose to use GRPS to accomplish this task.
GRPS has no limitations to the size of area that can be imaged, and also has instant results so the findings can be marked directly on the surface in real time with no waiting for films to be developed as with traditional x-ray. GPRS was able to scan multiple areas quickly and efficiently. This was ideal for the customer as they were on a tight timeline and did not need any further delays in their schedule. GPR is the new way to x-ray.
GPRS can not only locate reinforcement and conduits in hospitals in Denver, we offer other non-destructive testing such as locating septic tanks in Canyon City, Colorado, or finding concrete voids in Fort Collins, Colorado. GPRS also has an office in Phoenix, Arizona for your concrete imaging needs. Call to schedule an appointment today, or set up a lunch and learn and we’d love to come to your facility and give you more information on all of our testing capabilities. 303.775.8270

To Whom it May Concern,
Let me take this opportunity to provide a exemplory recommendation for Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. and the professional service they have delivered. Turner was the General Contractor for the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver Colorado. We utilized GPRS to ensure safe drilling areas in over 150 locations at the Pepsi Center through very congested floor slabs. The project schedule was exteremly tight and the accuracy of the information provided was remarkably very sound. GPRS was instrumental in assisting in a very sucessful project for the entire design/build team. Turner has since and certainly will continue to use Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. prior to cutting into existing slabs and walls.
